      Classico Paving Stones Information
     
    Classico is an attractive and distinctive paving system that presents the timeless beauty of cobblestones, yet is remarkably simple to install.

    Ideal for pedestrian malls, plazas, courtyards, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots and streets with low vehicular traffic volume.

    Installation

    1. Excavate to design levels.
    2. Compact the subgrade to the required density.
    3. Place and compact the sub base in layers not exceeding 150mm (6"). The sub base should be graded to a level so that the thickness of the bedding sand will not be more than 40mm (1 1/2") after compaction.
    4. Screed the bedding sand.
    5. Place the pavers in the pattern selected.
    6. Where necessary, cut pieces to fit the edge. Cut pieces should not be less than 1/4 of a full paver.
    7. Vibrate the surface with 2 or 3 passes of a flat plate compactor.
    8. Sweep sand into the joints.
    9. Re-vibrate the surface and refill the joints until full.
    10. Sweep the excess sand from the surface.
    11. The finished surface should not vary by more than 8mm (3/8") when tested with a 2 1/2 m (8ft) straight edge.
