There is an immediate opening for the position of Operations Manager, Ready Mix Division, reporting directly to the Area Manager. The major responsibilities of this position include production and delivery of concrete from all plants in the Fort McMurray Area; manage utilization of returned concrete; cost reduction and efficiency improvements through implementation of new technologies and equipment; and the supervision of Dispatch, Quality Assurance, all Maintenance Personnel, Yard Staff and Drivers.

The successful candidate should be highly motivated with experience in the Ready Mix Industry, with previous supervisory experience a definite asset.

Preference will be given to candidates with strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills; post secondary education preferably in an engineering field; proven planning and organizational skills; ability to identify, analyze and solve problems; ability to work in a fast paced environment.
