We collaborate with experts to assess plant conditions and develop mitigation plans to avoid any adverse impacts on the ecosystem.
Our stringent environmental policies include detailed dust, noise, and light management plans to minimize local community and wildlife disruption.
Our lands are leased for agricultural purposes when not used for our operations. We handpick and collaborate with farmers and ranchers to ensure the best agriculture practices. BURNCO collaborates with Beekeepers across North America to host beehives at our aggregate operations. The honey derived from the hives is sold as Buzzco, with the proceeds going directly to charities.
BURNCO uses natural gas to dry its aggregate and heat the asphalt cement. The blue smoke generated during asphalt production is captured using our state-of-the-art equipment and reused. Reusing blue smoke makes our plants more efficient and minimizes the discharge into the atmosphere.
